Veronica Carr

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Prior to coming to Sponge, Veronica spent six years at DDB Chicago, working on Life Savers, Safeway supermarkets, and the State Farm Mutual Insurance business. Her contribution on State Farm touched every aspect of the business and was integral to the Effie award winning “Now What?” campaign and the fully integrated multi-agency efforts surrounding State Farm’s broad sponsorship platform.

Over the course of her career, Veronica has been part of large established global agencies such as JWT Chicago, handling account duties on CPG brands like Nabisco Ritz Crackers, Wheat Thins, Triscuit, and Kraft Cheese Nips. Her start in advertising began at McCann Erickson Detroit where she worked on automotive brands GM Corporate, Buick and then transitioned into the automotive aftermarket category where she spent three years working to build the Prestone, Fram and Autolite brands.

When Veronica is not working she may be found baking rich chocolaty treats, playing tennis, or in a studio working on wheel thrown pottery.
